Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

At Spring Journals, we regularly receive inquiries from researchers, scholars, and professionals worldwide. This FAQ section addresses the most common questions we receive. It will be updated periodically to ensure clarity and transparency in our publishing process.

1. How do I submit my paper?

You can submit your manuscript by clicking the “Submit” button on our website. This will direct you to our online submission portal, where you can upload your work and provide the required author information. Detailed submission guidelines are available on our Author Instructions page.

2. Why does Spring Journals charge a publication/processing fee?

Spring Journals operates under the Gold Open Access model. All published articles are freely and immediately accessible worldwide without subscription or pay-per-view fees.
Since we do not generate revenue from subscriptions, publication fees help cover essential costs, including:

  1. Peer review and editorial management
  2. Professional editing and formatting
  3. Website hosting and digital preservation
  4. Staff salaries and operational expenses
  5. Research development, training, and capacity building
  6. Conference organisation and outreach initiatives

Producing and maintaining a high-quality, peer-reviewed publication involves significant resources. The Article Processing Charge (APC) ensures we can continue to make research freely available to readers while upholding rigorous academic standards.

3. How and when is the fee paid?

Authors are charged the APC only after their manuscript is accepted for publication following peer review. Payment instructions and available methods will be sent with the acceptance letter. Manuscripts are published once payment is received.

4. Who can submit a manuscript to Spring Journals?

We welcome submissions from:

-Academics and scholars

-Researchers and scientists

-Professionals in relevant fields

-Research institutes and corporate organisations

-Educators and policy experts

-Graduate students (especially those co-authoring with academic supervisors)

Our journals are multidisciplinary and encourage both theoretical and applied research contributions.

5. Is Spring Journals Open Access or Subscription-based?

Spring Journals is fully Open Access, meaning:

Free global access: Anyone can read, download, and share articles without charge.

Immediate availability: Articles are published online as soon as they are ready—no embargo periods.

Funding model: Open access publication is supported through APCs, typically paid by the author’s institution or research funder.
